Universal Plug-n-Play CAN-Bus Signal Decoder by Rivco®. This low-voltage computer controlled wiring uses a four-wire tail light system. When installing a trailer hitch to tow a trailer that has a five-wire tail light system, the HD007-50 decoder is required after installing Rivco HD007-49 sub-harness. It is also required that you install Rivco GL18007-IU isolator inline after the HD007-50 decoder (not using an isolator will damage the HD007-50 decoder). All of Rivco trailer wiring components are a designed to be plug-n-play and will require no cutting, splicing, or soldering.

- You MUST also use an isolator, Rivco #51-8190. This will draw all the power for the trailer lights directly from the battery and not adversely affect the CAN-bus system. This will plug into the sub harness
- IF the trailer you will be towing has a 5 wire system you MUST install this signal decoder part no. 518715. This will separate the combined CAN-bus signal allowing it to correctly operate the lights on the trailer
